A few practical notes before getting in touch. ColourfulTone® Mastering is a niche practice, not a service at scale. Every project is treated as a commission, and the workflow is configured around a single album or song, so the number of works we accept each year is very small. Not every recording is a suitable candidate for our process — minimal, acoustic and composed music tends to respond best, while heavily compressed contemporary productions typically do not. After an initial listening of the material we prepare, at no cost, a sample of the post-mastered result. If you approve it, we proceed. If not, nothing is owed. Because the studio is then dedicated entirely to your music, approval is expected within a short window.

Accepted formats: digital files from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz, CD, 1/4-inch two-track analog tape, 1-inch two-track analog tape, 33 RPM and 45 RPM records.

A note on confidentiality. The material you entrust to us is treated with the strictest discretion. Part of our studio works in commercial post-production under industry-grade privacy protocols, and the same standards apply to every project that passes through this facility — nothing is ever shared, discussed, or circulated beyond the team directly involved in the work.
